A long green ribbon following the Saddle River for ~6 miles, linking several family areas with one continuous flat bike-and-walking path. Each section has its own personality — from the duck pond and turtles at Wild Duck Pond to the little waterfall at Dunkerhook — so you can pick a different spot every weekend.
Good for: All ages · Free parking at every area. For short legs, start at one lot (Wild Duck Pond or Otto Pehle) rather than the full 6 miles; bring bikes/scooters — the trail is stroller-smooth.
